Sarah Davis - Expedition Leader
Hi, thanks for checking out my big dream!
Back in 2016 I had a feeling there was something missing. I had a great life and career, but there was a sense that there had to be more, and that I wasn’t living a life really true to me. I committed to finding that life, and made me feel truly alive.
Long story short, a big dream came to me - to attempt to paddle the length of the Nile. I was excited and scared at the prospect, but with every cell in my body, I knew this was it. It turned out to be the most incredible, life-changing journey. It was what I was looking for, and it made me come alive in a way I didn’t think possible.
It ignited something in me, and I went on to do more big adventures. However, none came close to what the Nile had given me. That was until I came up with the idea for Pole to Pole. I had the same visceral response and again, the prospect of doing it terrifies and excites me. So here I am. With this expedition, I want there to be a ripple effect. That we create a movement of people going after their biggest dreams. And that we help those trapped in some form of modern slavery and try to combat this growing global issue impacting millions.
